After showing a female friend my page here she began to browse my favorites. It didn't take her long to notice that most of my selections were of females and a number of them had nudity. She asked me why so many females were the subject. I explained to her that a woman's body is the only indication to me that there might be a God. I never look at any of the art I see on DeviantART as pornographic. Erotic at times, but never outright pornography. I suspect in the age of "Girls Gone Wild" and the MAXIMifcation of men's supposed view of women it's easy to think of me looking at these images for purely sexual gratification. But the thing is that I never objectify the subjects. I look at them as things to admire and be in awe of the artistry behind them. I think there is a reason why the Mona Lisa is one of the most loved and studied pieces of art in history.

Some find images of nature, urban landscapes, and still life the most satisfying to look at. I just happen to find that in a subject I shall never tire of... women.

I must admit despite my views I did feel like quite the "pervert" after our conversation and that was really upsetting.
